I recently had some pictures developed to put into the baby memory book that we received as a gift. It was so surprising to see how different Reese looks in just 10 weeks. Most of the clothes she wore as a newborn no longer fit although, oddly, she is still able to wear the pajama dress that she came home in. Here is a picture of her on that day:
And here is one taken just a few days ago:
Notice how much better the outfit fits her now. She used to swim in it.
Reese is developing her communication skills these days. She gurgles and coos and sometimes it seems that she makes these sounds in response to questions we ask her. She also has extensive conversations with her stuffed toy. Here is a video of one chat that goes on for more than a minute. Watch a few seconds to hear her chatter on about something with Mr. Doggy.
I think Mr Doggy will be around for a while. He is the first object Reese has actually grabbed for and the first toy she put in her mouth to get to know it better. He's definitely a keeper.
And so is she!
