Isn't that a beautiful smile? Mike was able to capture this picture with his cell phone so it's not the best resolution, but it is the best smile I've seen in a while so I wanted to share it with you.Reese continues to bring us joy and keep us busy. She will flash her toothless grin several times a day. (Mike is an expert at making her smile. Despite the fact that I am her milk factory, I think she's already a Daddy's girl!)
She is sleeping for longer stretches at night which is wonderful but during the day she doesn't like nap in her crib. Instead she prefers to cat nap in her swing or vibrating chair which doesn't give her as much rest as she needs and she's fussy for the rest of the day. The alternative is that she wants to sleep in our arms. If we hold her she will sleep for longer periods of time but as you can imagine that limits our ability to get other trivial things done such as shower or eat lunch.
The nice thing is, now that Mike is only attending summer school 3 nights a week, both of us are home most of the time so we can relieve each other. Things will change in August when I go back to work but for now our tag team efforts seem to be working.
